  1. Okay, I admit it. My brother wrote this wonderful book and worked on the photographs and all other aspects of this amazing literary contribution.

Some books make you think. Some books make you cry. Some books make you feel intelligent. This book simply makes you smile and/or laugh.

The quality is top notch and this is a perfect book for any cat or yoga lover. The images are so real that it almost looks possible.

Guarantee you will not be sorry if you purchase this book for yourself or a friend. I’m looking forward to other books in the “yoga” series.

I was at a local bookstore over the weekend and saw the author doing a book signing. As soon as I opened the book I was blown away and also laughing out loud right in the store! I came home and my nephew and I read through the whole book together and laughed the whole time. I wish my cat was a cat yogi too! I’ve found the perfect holiday gift for all of my nieces and nephews this year. Go Cat Yoga!!

This is a fun and clever little book that my family is enjoying on our coffee table lately. Each page depicts a cat in a Yoga postition and most pictures are really funny, my 6 year old son laughed like a lunatic during the first few readings. On the opposite pages, there is text describing the position with its true(?) Indian name, and humorous enlightenments for the reader on how each position improves such important cat concerns such as musculature, coat health, litter birthing capability and self-confidence. My kids, their Mom and I are enjoying it a lot! It’s rare to find a book these days that appeals to kids and adults but this is a good example.

OK Big Bad Baby Twinkle — this is MY review……!

Cat Yoga is a WONDERFUL little book of real (but simulated here– great job — Photoshop???) Yoga poses, performed by Cats. The (correctly-named) positions mimic (for the most part) the actual poses that would be practiced by us humans, and the very informative descriptions, while being faithful to the actual meaning of each pose — are also hilariously slanted toward Kitty’s needs (such as: “always check with your veterinarian before beginning any exercise program while carrying a litter”…. and another, where we view a plump wide-eyed puss precariously perched on one paw for “The Raised Foot Pose….a good posture for cats …just beginning a yoga ..program to lose unwanted pounds”).

A variety of good natured kitties have posed for these (altered, and we hope the cats are too < ;-) wonderful photographs -- and hey, if your CAT won't perform these poses -- YOU can -- in fact, this book is the perfect size to accompany me (when I stretch out on whatever portion of the rug my cats will allow me to inhabit), and refer to, while I am doing (Human) Yoga.
