I’ve taken up yoga. It’s been about 3 wks, so I’m still a beginner. I love the way it makes my muscles feel. What benefits can I expect down the road? Muscle strength? Definition? Flexibility? And about how long before I see those results? TIA!

    i recently started yoga too. it’s suppost to make u more flexible, stronger, i think it gives u more balance, and idk it’s just suppost to be good 4 u!

    Yoga helps with some flexibility, toning, balance, and helps strengthen your core muscles (those in your chest, abdomen, and back–the ‘core’ of the body). Having a stronger, healthier ‘core’ will probably help you have a more positive outlook (it helps increase bloodflow to the brain, which has been shown to help one’s view on life, etc).

    Hi, I felt myself more flexible after 3 months of practicing yoga. After 6 months I was times more flexible, the difference was huge. It needs at least 6 weeks to see the first results.

    You will see improvement in:
    - your body position
    - gain a centimeter or more because of the improved position
    - muscles strength
    - flexibility
    - weight loss – but you need couple of months to experience this
    - better breathing – no more gasp when climbing stairs
    - mental health
    - mood improvement
    - metabolism boost
    - relaxation
    These were the benefits I felt from yoga.
